QUESTIONS FOR KIDS [05]
by John Canu inspired by the comics
“NOT SO LOUD, PLEASE!”
updated 980630
The girl tells the boy: “Play softer!”
— “How much softer?”, he asks. — “So I can't hear you.”
What do you think the boy is going to do now? And the girl?
Do you sometimes feel that other people are playing music too loud, or
talking too loud, or making too much noise? Tell us about it. How do you
feel when that happens? What do you do?
Do other people sometimes ask you to be quieter? When does that happen?
Do they ask you in the right way? What is the right way? Then what you
do, does it depend on how they ask?
Do you have class rules about talking? What are they? Do those rules work
well? If you were asked to make the class rules about talking, what would
your rules be? What would happen when kids obey the rule? What would happen
when they don't?
Click
here to answer any of those questions, to tell us anything else this
cartoon makes you think of, or to ask me, or kids in general, some questions
about it.
