Rosey and me My name is Julio Cesar Eggenhafer Pérez.
My 10th birthday is on January 20, 1999.
I'm Mexican and I came to the USA in January 1997.
And I have 3 brothers.
I'm winner in the internet, I know a lot of the internet.
I have brown eyes.
And I'm in karate.
I am intelligent.
I'm in a soccer team.
I have 2 horses, 1 mare, 1goat.
I had 19 other kids in my third grade class (1997-98).
I don't know whether I'll be here in El Paso for the
school year 1998-99. Probably I will go to live in Denver.
My favorite foods are pizza, hot dogs, and nachos.
My favorite sport is soccer.
My favorite state is California.
I write letters to different parts of the world.
I have written poems that were not invented by other people.

Mr. Navarro, the teacher of the classroom next to my 3rd grade, had a digital camera attached to his computer. So we all went there to have our picture taken on March 6, 1998, while holding Rosie,. the teddy bear mascot of a class in South Bay School, West Babylon NY, who sent her to us for a visit.

I wrote the following for the people who want to be my friends by E-mail:

Dear friends, my name is Julius Caesar but my friends call me Julian. I can teach you to you Spanish and you can teach me to me like you speak. I hope you say how old and on what day is your birthday and I hope you visit me in my state and to be able to play and to send us letters and I hope to know you. I like to travel by air to all the countries. We want to be your friends and to play with you English and Spanish and I want you to know me all of us games and other more things to tell to you; I want to be your friend. Here in the school almost all we are Mexican, some are not Mexican.
The only countries that I know 3: New Mexico, Juarez, Las Cruces. In Juárez everybody goes on foot some people downtown, who are going around crazy with drugs and alcohol, they scream, they say bad words, they break bottles, and they throw bottles and stones to the buses and they fight with people that walk alone because of the piche, the drugs and alcohol and those that are 18 17 16 19 20 write on the walls, they kill the children with a pistol, those that come out to play with their friends and I want to ask several things, for example what subjects you like to do? what do you like to play? what do you like to eat? do you have animals? what are their names of all your animals?

I am Julio Cesar Eggenhafer Pérez. I was born January 20, 1989. I like to play basketball and also football; I like math and the computer. I am light brown. I have 2 brothers, 1 sister; one is my brother the oldest he was born in 1980 and my brother the younger he was born in 1986. I like animals such as kittens and all small animals. I like to eat burritos of red chili, nachos, hot dogs and hamburgers, and also the corn on the cob, and also candies; I like the hot sauce of the valentinas and ice-cream and potato chips a lot. I am in third grade. I like almost all sports. I like to watch the cartoons and several Mexican movies, those of here.

One of my favorite books is “Dragon Ball Z2”. It is of a cartoon with color pictures on almost all the pages. The pictures are medium in size and they have D.Ball.Z in them.
I like it because it has all the characters that I love to watch in the TV cartoon of D-Ball-Z every day at 7:00 P.M. and my favorites in this book are Goku, Gohan, Vegeta, Piccoro, Callosama, Ten Chin Hand, Chaus, Llamesha, because there is a difference with the humans and a difference with the Planet Furt. And he fights to defend the universe and the planets. Favorite books and authors of my classmates

What I like to collect is remote control airplanes and I have a plane with a real motor because my grandpa used to give me warplanes from Germany and he gives me souvenirs.
Also I like to collect race cars and I have 200 cars. Also pictures of Dragon Ball Z2. Collections, hobbies, interests of my classmates

My favorite sports are soccer and baseball.
I like to watch soccer. My favorite team is Mexico.
I like to play dominoes and to shoot birds with my BB gun. I like to play Cops-and-Robbers (Policía-y-Ratas). Sports and games of my classmates

I wrote this part of the Friendship Poem of my class:
.... Dear friends, I am here awaiting your return, so that we can reopen that great friendship between us, and may no one in the whole world undo this great friendship, and my only wish is that you be my friends for the remainder of our lives. Only mighty death may destroy this greatest of friendships. Friends, do not grieve if I should die. Death is our friend and gives repose to our bodies and frees our souls to roam throughout the heavens.

Here is a poem that I wrote in Spanish and happens to be here in the classroom, so I will copy it for you: ........ Poema Romántico Te veo y no lo puedo creer. Te tengo y jamás lo pensé. Ahora que estás a mi lado puedo comprender Que no todo ha muerto en mi querer.
