WE GIVE THANKS to ourselves because we try to improve our behavior towards adults and other people.

WE GIVE THANKS to our moms and dads, and for the life, love, care, and things they give us.

WE GIVE THANKS for our brothers, sisters, cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, and our 17 great-grandparents.

WE GIVE THANKS for breathing and for the trees and other plants and for the oxygen they produce.

WE GIVE THANKS for for happiness, health, love, food, light, clothes, home.

WE GIVE THANKS for our friends who help us in our study and play.

WE GIVE THANKS for schools and teachers who teach all the children so that we may have a better future.

WE GIVE THANKS for the physicians who cure the sick and the wounded.

WE GIVE THANKS for the police who protect us against thieves and murderers.

WE GIVE THANKS for the firefighters who put out fires.

WE GIVE THANKS for the farmers who produce our food, for the truckers who bring it, for the storekeepers who sell it.

WE GIVE THANKS for toys, streets and highways, gas, gasoline, electricity, cars, trucks, buses, pets.
